Green Committee Newsletter

Dear Children and Parents,
Recently we were elected by our classes to represent them on St. Louise’s Green Committee. This is an important job, which we take very seriously. We want to help protect our environment and make our school a clean and litter free zone – a place we can all be proud of! We have come up with suggestions during our meeting as to how best to do that. Thank you for your co-operation.

• In school, fruit peelings will be composted in our compost bins
• All paper will be recycled
• All children should bring a plastic bag, which is reusable or a lunch box to school to bring home their empty bottles and rubbish
• These plastic bottles and yoghurt drink bottles (which must be rinsed out first) can be put into each family’s recycling bin at home as our school cannot cater for them
