Tips / Advice to help prepare your child for Early Start

Look at books with your child and read stories to him/her. Have a collection of attractive and colourful books in the home.
Sing songs and nursery rhymes together.
Give your child every opportunity for drawing, colouring, painting, cutting with safety scissors, sticking and playing with play-dough.
Encourage your child to talk about things of interest that you or he/she may be doing at home, in the shop, in the car etc.
Make time to listen to your child when he/she wants to tell you something that is important to him/her.
